Rick Martin, Perkowitz+Ruth Architects' Director of Sustainability, recently passed the International Code Council (ICC) exam to be a Certified CALGreen Plans Examiner. In partnership with the California Building Officials, this ICC certification is intended to validate the competency of inspectors and plan reviewers on their understanding and ability to implement the provisions of CalGreen.

Midtown Crossing Grand Opening Celebrated in Los Angeles Mid-City District

Developer CIM Group brought together community and government leaders on March 5 to celebrate the completion of phase two of Midtown Crossing -- a 330,000-square-foot urban retail development in central Los Angeles. The two-phase development, which saw the first phase completed in 2006, is home to the first Lowe’s Home Improvement Store to locate in the mid-city district.
