Senior Principal
Senior Principal and Director of Design Marios Savopoulos, AIA, leads the Placemaking studio at Perkowitz+Ruth Architects. He possesses over 20 years of experience in mixed use design and planning, lifestyle and high-end retail, entertainment centers, and hospitality destinations, as well as interior design experience for the above building types. Savopoulos possesses a Bachelor of Architecture degree with honors from the University of Texas at Austin and is a licensed architect in California. As an active member of the American Institute of Architects, Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers, he has contributed to conferences on place making, mixed use and urban planning, and served as a frequent panelist and contributing author for various publications.
