One client and an idea. That’s how Sy Perkowitz, AIA, PE, and Steve Ruth, AIA, saw themselves in 1979 when they founded Perkowitz+Ruth Architects. Both saw the need for an architecture firm that would respond to clients’ needs while stretching boundaries. As the firm’s capabilities evolved, so did its leadership. In addition to the firm’s founders, today P+R Architects is led by eight principals guiding various dimensions of the firm’s expanding practice.

Today, P+R Architects has a nationwide staff of more than 200 professionals and architects licensed to practice in 49 states, and experienced both domestically and internationally. Together, these professionals have successfully planned and designed thousands of projects ranging from small tenant improvements, to million-plus square foot entertainment complexes.
